The Batman®: Arkham Knight GamePack features a great set of custom Mods including Auto Grapnel Boost, Easy Super Eject, Super Eject Strength, Auto Shockwave Attack, Driving Mode Button Remap & Detective Mode Button Remap.

You also get 18 SPECIAL COMBO TAKEDOWN /ATTACK MOVES that can be mapped to any Elite Controller Paddle (or a separate Quick Toggle for all other controllers) so you're able to use four separate combo/attack mods at any one time with just the press of a button - these include Special Combo Takedown, Special Combo Disarm and Destroy, Environmental Takedown, Pickup Weapon, Special Combo Multi Ground Takedown, Quickfire Batclaw, Quickfire Remote Electrical Charge, Quickfire Explosive Gel, Critical Beatdown, Beat Down, Super Stun, Aerial Attack, Directed Aerial Attack, Special Combo Freeze Blast, Special Combo Batclaw, Special Combo Remote Electrical Charge, Batclaw Slam, Batclaw Super Stun and Quickfire Freeze Blast!

There are two methods to setup and configure Mods in this GamePack, the first being the GamePack Configuration Interface (or GCI) and the second is the Zen OLED Menu System.

The GCI either pops up every time you program a GamePack to a memory slot or when you click on the memory slot number in Zen Studio. This is a really quick way to setup all your preferred defaults from the get-go.

The Zen OLED Menu System is a new groundbreaking feature that allows the configuration and tuning of dozens of different Mod modes and combinations, on-the-fly and in seconds, all from an easy to read OLED interface. Once you have programmed this GamePack to a memory slot it must be enabled and active. This is done by pressing the Memory Slot Button (P1) until the logo of the GamePack you wish to use appears on the OLED screen.

When you see the logo of this GamePack displayed on the screen, simply hold LT/L2 & press MENU/OPTIONS to access the Mod Menu System.

All Adjustable Mods can be tuned and tested in real-time directly from the Zen GamePack OLED Adjustables Menu.

The Zen OLED Menu System has built in screensaver protection to help protect against screen burn. It will kick in after 3 minutes of inactivity. Press any button to return to the Mod Menu screen.

Quick Toggles allow you to access the OLED Menu System and instantly enable/disable active Mods while gaming. This gives an incredible advantage in certain situations, for example if you are using a weapon that requires Anti-Recoil to be disabled quickly, or if you are using a fully automatic weapon and need to disable Rapid Fire, simply tap the Quick Toggle designated to the Active Fire Mod.

Note: When a Mod is disabled, any associated Quick Toggle is also disabled.

This Mod will automatically activate the Grapnel Boost for you. Works for all upgrade levels. While holding A/CROSS, press RB/R1 and keep A/CROSS held down.

When driving mode is active, simply hold down the A/CROSS button and this Mod will automatically activate Super Eject. The strength of this Mod can also be adjusted (see Super Eject Strength below).

Sets the Strength level for the Easy Super Eject Mod.

Dive Bomb to the ground and perform a powerful shockwave attack that knocks down enemies in the vicinity immediately.

Pro Tip: When you perform Dive Bomb, you land on the ground at a great downward speed and you can also transfer this speed into a horizontal glide. This will help you cover large distances and you can surprise your opponent using this tactic.

Note: Shockwave Attack must be unlocked (requires 3 WayneTech Points).

In-Game Rumble/Vibration setting MUST be enabled for this Mod to work.

We've seen complaints that the brake is not LT/L2 in this game, so we added the option to remap the Driving Mode Button by swapping LT/L2 with X/SQUARE.

We've seen complaints that Detective Mode is not LB/L1 in this game, so we added the option to remap the Detective Mode Button by swapping D-PAD UP with LB/L1.

In-Game Rumble/Vibration MUST be enabled for this Mod to work.

This GamePack includes a comprehensive list of 18 Special Combo Takedowns & Attack Moves that can be used with the following in-game characters: Batman, Robin, Catwoman, Nightwing, Azrael, Harley Quinn, Batgirl, and Red Hood. Here are some general combat notes to help improve your gameplay:

  • You can only evade once without breaking your combo, but you can redirect as many times in a row as you want.

  • Picking up a weapon from the ground will enable you to freely attack stun baton and electrified enemies.

  • Characters with the Batclaw other than Batgirl can use the Quickfire Batclaw move to pull a gun from an enemy's hands. This will not destroy the gun, however.

  • While the combat system is designed to discourage button mashing, there are times when it will not hurt to do so. One example is when an enemy waits to attack you while you're in the middle of a takedown animation. The counter squiggles will be there, and unless you can time it perfectly, it's ok to press triangle multiple times as the animation finishes.

  • All characters have a quickfire move linked to LT/L2 but using it too many times in a row will void your combo.

  • Several trophies require you to finish combat rounds unharmed and in a single combo. In general, you want to keep it simple. Redirect rather than counter.

  • You cannot be harmed while performing an Aerial Attack on a shield enemy. However, you can be hit while performing it on a normal enemy. Avoid using it unless the area around you is pretty clear.

  • Similarly, you cannot be hit while performing a Batclaw Slam on an electrified enemy.

Assign one of 18 Special Combos, Moves & Takedowns to the Upper Right Paddle (P1) on the Xbox One Elite Controller or to a Quick Toggle (LT/L2 + D-PAD UP) if you are using any other controller.

Some things to be aware of when using these combos:

  • Disarm and Destroy is possibly the most useful move in the game, as it permanently removes a weapon from the area. This works on guns, shields, stun batons, knives, pipes, and baseball bats.

  • If there are no enemies with weapons nearby, Disarm and Destroy will become a Special Combo Takedown.

  • Using the Quickfire Remote Electrical Charge on a stun baton enemy will overload it and cause them to drop it.

  • You cannot be hit during an Aerial Attack if it is performed on a shield enemy.

  • Similarly, you cannot be hit while performing a Batclaw Slam on an electrified enemy.

After Quick Toggle is ON.

For Elite Controller users the mod you choose will perform on the Upper Right Paddle (P1) which is the PR1 Button.

For Non Elite Controller users the mod you choose will perform on the A/CROSS Button.

Assign one of 18 Special Combos, Moves & Takedowns to the Lower Right Paddle (P2) on the Xbox One Elite Controller or to a Quick Toggle (LT/L2 + D-PAD DOWN) if you are using any other controller.

Some things to be aware of when using these combos:

  • Disarm and Destroy is possibly the most useful move in the game, as it permanently removes a weapon from the area. This works on guns, shields, stun batons, knives, pipes, and baseball bats.

  • If there are no enemies with weapons nearby, Disarm and Destroy will become a Special Combo Takedown.

Some things to be aware of when using these combos:

For Elite Controller users the mod you choose will perform on the Lower Left Paddle (P4) which is the PL2 Button.

For Non Elite Controller users the mod you choose will perform on the Y/TRIANGLE Button.

This option blocks all rumble signals sent from the game, but still allows the GamePack to read in-game rumble frequencies (used by several mods to measure timing).

So, if you have this Mod disabled your controller will vibrate while shooting, and if this Mod is enabled your controller will not vibrate while your shooting.

In-Game rumble/vibration must still be enabled.

  1. Press the MENU/OPTIONS button on your controller

  2. Select OPTIONS

  3. Select VIBRATION

When this GamePack is being used on a PlayStation 5 or 4 and detects the connected controller is not a DualSense or DualShock 4, it will automatically reassign Touchpad to the Select/Back/View/Minus Button of your crossover controller so you are still able to utilize the Touchpad functionality on a PlayStation while using a Crossover controller. You can also access the PS5/PS4 Share Screen by pressing Select/Back/View/Minus + RS (Right Stick).

If you are experiencing unstable performance or settings issues with your GamePack, it's likely that the configuration profile has become corrupted. This can sometimes happen when updating to a newer GamePack version with major structural changes or using a memory slot that already had a pack previously programmed to it.
