🛠️ How to Setup this GamePack

There are two methods to setup and configure Mods in this GamePack, the first being the GamePack Configuration Interface (or GCI) and the second is the Zen OLED Menu System.

⚙️ GamePack Configuration Interface (GCI)

The GCI either pops up every time you program a GamePack to a memory slot or when you click on the memory slot number in Zen Studio. This is a really quick way to setup all your preferred defaults from the get-go.

GamePack Default Settings: All default values are optimized for console gaming with a controller. If using 🖱️Mouse & keyboard, you should expect to have to change almost all default settings to suit your preferred playing style, in particular changing all in-game sensitivity settings to maximum. It's very important that you setup your mouse before trying to use any GamePacks or scripts.

🔲 Zen OLED Menu System

The Zen OLED Menu System is a new groundbreaking feature that allows the configuration and tuning of dozens of different Mod modes and combinations, on-the-fly and in seconds, all from an easy to read OLED interface. Once you have programmed this GamePack to a memory slot it must be enabled and active. This is done by pressing the Memory Slot Button (P1) until the logo of the GamePack you wish to use appears on the OLED screen.

When you see the logo of this GamePack displayed on the screen, simply hold LT/L2 & press MENU/OPTIONS to access the Mod Menu System.

All Adjustable Mods can be tuned and tested in real-time directly from the Zen GamePack OLED Adjustables Menu.

♻️ Screensaver

The Zen OLED Menu System has built in screensaver protection to help protect against screen burn. It will kick in after 3 minutes of inactivity. Press any button to return to the Mod Menu screen.

Press Play for Screensaver Demo

🕹️ Quick Toggles

Quick Toggles allow you to access the OLED Menu System and instantly enable/disable active Mods while gaming. This gives an incredible advantage in certain situations, for example if you are using a weapon that requires Anti-Recoil to be disabled quickly, or if you are using a fully automatic weapon and need to disable Rapid Fire, simply tap the Quick Toggle designated to the Active Fire Mod.

Note: When a Mod is disabled, any associated Quick Toggle is also disabled.

🎮 Active Fire Mod

This category has a selection of powerful Rapid Fire type Mods, including Adjustable Rapid Fire, Dynamic Rapid Fire and Burst Fire.

Rapid Fire is designed for semi-automatic and single shot weapons. The feature makes them shoot as fully automatics and gives the players a greater firing power compared to the one achieved through manual trigger pulling.

In simple terms, the Mod pulls the Fire Trigger on your behalf. When you hold down RT/R2, the mod keeps pressing fire in the background over and over again until you release it. It also lets you focus on aiming better by taking away the need to constantly press fire.

🔫 Adjustable Rapid Fire gives you the ability to change the fire rate in real-time straight from the Cronus Zen OLED interface. This allows you to tune your preferred fire rate quickly and with ease, which creates a very unique advantage for players looking to get the most optimum possible fire rate from their weapon.

🔫 Dynamic Rapid Fire has the fire rate of a weapon tied to the pressure of the trigger. The more pressure applied, the faster you will shoot.

🔫 Burst Fire turns your Fully Automatic into a semi-automatic weapon, allowing you to conserve ammunition while improving accuracy and achieving more headshots.

There are a few things worth noting:

  • Every game and gun has a capped fire-rate preset by the game developer. The mod can optimize to it's maximum speed and also help with tricks such as cool down and weapon swap speed, but the actual fire speed can never go above the preset capped rate.

  • The Rapid Fire mod is not effective for single shot weapons that have a very slow firing rate such as Bolt Action Rifles.

  • Cronus Mod Technology offers a tactical Quick Toggle feature. It allows the player to quickly disable or enable the Active Fire Mod depending on the gaming circumstances - for example when your character is carrying both semi and fully-automatic weapons at the same time. While changing between primary and secondary classes, Rapid Fire can be quickly turned ON or OFF by holding LT/L2 + D-PAD UP.

Pro Tip: Pistols and Semi-Automatics work best with Rapid Fire.

While Rapid Fire will not usually make a fully-automatic gun shoot any faster, it can have positive side effects on full-auto guns, such as reducing recoil thus increasing accuracy at a long range and helping players conserve ammunition and achieve more headshots.

🎮 Anti-Recoil

Recoil is when your weapon moves on its own while firing. Anti-Recoil reduces this erratic movement making your shots more accurate and more likely to hit your target. For example, without Anti-Recoil your weapon may pull up when you fire and with Anti-Recoil your weapon will stay on target and fire straight.

Each weapon in each game has a unique recoil pattern and when adjusted correctly Anti-Recoil simply combats the vertical (and sometimes horizontal) aspect of this. When the game causes the weapon to pull up, Anti-Recoil will pull the weapon down enough to level out your shot.

Pro Tip: When you use a high sensitivity the value can be higher than the default value. When you use a low sensitivity the value can be lower than the default value.

Anti-Recoil strength can be adjusted from 1 to 100 in real-time by using the Zen OLED GamePack Adjustable Menu. A higher value means a stronger recoil compensation, a lower value means less recoil compensation. This allows you to quickly tune your weapon directly from your controller while playing the game, without having to unplugging and connecting your Zen to a PC.

If you are using the Inverted-Y Axis version of this Mod, it will also need to be enabled in-game. This is called "INVERT VERTICAL LOOK" in Battlefield 1.

  2. Select CONTROLS 👉 BASIC

🎮 Shotgun Aim Assist

Battlefield 1 has a built-in Aim Assist mechanic which this Mod abuses to improve your aim further.

Simply choose from five of the most deadly shotguns in Battlefield 1, each having their own built-in custom Aim Assist timing presets:

Model 10-A (also referred to as the Remington Model 10) is a pump-action, 12-gauge shotgun designed in the United States. 3500 Model 10-As, modified with a shortened barrel, sling swivels, a wooden heat shield and a bayonet lug, were delivered for use by American soldiers during World War I. The weapon cannot be chamber-loaded for balance reasons. Reloading from empty will instead show the player character loading the magazine tube to full capacity (6 rounds) before pumping the shotgun once to chamber the weapon.

M97 Trench Gun (also referred to as the Winchester Model 1897) is a pump-action Shotgun designed by John Moses Browning. It possesses an unusually high rate of fire for a shotgun thanks to its ability to be slamfired; if the player continues to hold down Fire as with an automatic weapon, the M97 will fire as soon as the pump is completed. However, firing as fast as possible causes significant accuracy loss, making it only advisable to do so at very close range.

12g Automatic (also referred to as the Humpback due to the distinctive design of the receiver) is a semi-automatic pump-action shotgun that uses a long recoil mechanism, more commonly featured on automatic cannons. An American design from 1898, it was the first mass-produced semi-automatic shotgun in the World.

Model 1900 It doesn’t get much better than a good ol’ double barreled shotgun. This weapon packs a serious punch, and even sports an alternate fire that allows players to fire off both barrels at once. The factory variant recovers faster, while the slug variant gives players additional range.

How to Unlock Model 1900 Factory Variant: Perform 40 kills with the M97 Trench Gun Backbored, perform 5 kills with the AT Rocket Gun in a single round.

How to Unlock Model 1900 Slug Variant: Perform 50 kills with the 12g Automatic, perform 20 kills with the Gasser M1870 pistol.

Sjögren Inertial (also referred to as the Sjögren Inertial Shotgun) is a semi-automatic shotgun introduced in the Battlefield 1: They Shall Not Pass expansion for the Assault class, and it packs quite a punch. Built from a Swedish design utilizing a unique firing mechanism that unlocks the bolt by applying force to the firing pin, the Sjögren has a visual design which makes it stand out from the other shotguns in Battlefield 1. While it doesn’t compete with the Model 10-A directly, you’ll want to try it out when fighting on many of the close-quarters included in They Shall Not Pass.

Stats wise, the Sjögren Inertial has lower maximum damage than both pump-action shotguns. In this respect, it can be seen as a compromise between the faster fire rate of the 12g Automatic and the higher damage of the Model 1900 pump-action shotguns. Unlike the 12g Auto, the Sjögren Inertial can kill on one shot at close ranges.

How to Unlock Sjögren Inertial Factory Variant: Perform 50 kills with the Model 10-A Slug, perform 15 kills with the M97 Trench Gun Hunter in a single round.

Aim Assist will make your Crosshair shake a little to trick the Aim Assist system to be always on. This is expected behaviour.

Drop Shot makes your character drop to the ground automatically each time you fire your weapon, allowing the bullets to hit the opponent’s entire body while also forcing the opponent to aim downward in order to get a shot off.

Strafe Shot makes your character move to the left or right while firing. The direction is determined by your last analog stick direction. Note: You will NOT strafe if you are moving forwards or backwards.

🎮 Auto Spot

Auto Spot is a very useful mod designed especially for Battlefield. You can help your team in BF by spotting an enemy that will show on your teammates' radar. You may earn extra points once a spotted enemy is defeated. This action is usually accomplished by manually pressing the Right Bumper (RB/R1).

With Auto Spot you no longer have to press the Right Bumper, as the mod will automatically do it for you every time you trigger your weapon using one of the following activators:

🔫 Fire Only: Auto Spot only when pressing the FIRE trigger. ADS will block the Mod. 🔫 ADS Only: Auto Spot only when pressing the ADS trigger. FIRE will block the Mod. 🔫 On Fire: Auto Spot while pressing the FIRE trigger. ADS is ignored. 🔫 Always On: Auto Spot is always active (RB/R1 toggles ON/OFF).

🎮 Quick Scope

Quick Scope is a Sniper Rifle Mod widely used in Battlefield. As soon as you press ADS (LT/L2), your weapon will fire the shot automatically as soon as the gun scopes in. Perfecting the aiming and timing will allow you to become a one-man commando with your sniper rifle.

There are a few things worth noting:

  • The mod won’t automatically aim for you when you scope your rifle in.

  • When the mod is activated and you tap ADS (LT/L2), the Mod will hold Sniper Breath and take a shot automatically.

  • The time (delay) between the scoping in and taking a shot can be adjusted in real-time.

🎮 Sniper Breath

Designed for sniper rifles, pressing ADS (LT/L2) automatically holds your characters breath, eliminating the need to push in the Left Stick (LS/L3). This allows you to focus on aiming and shooting your enemies more effectively.

🎮 Hair Triggers

Battlefield applies a "dead-zone" to the trigger buttons, which means the triggers (either shooting or ADS) need to be pressed almost half way down before they are registered by the game. With this Hair Trigger Mod you can ensure your weapon will fire or ADS at the slightest amount of pressure. When using this Mod, the LT/L2 and RT/R2 triggers are digitally converted so that they perform with ultra sensitivity without having to hardwire any extra components to your controller - saving both your warranty, time and money.

🎮 Block Rumble

This option blocks all rumble signals sent from the game, but still allows the GamePack to read in-game rumble frequencies (used by several mods to measure timing).

So, if you have this Mod disabled your controller will vibrate while shooting, and if this Mod is enabled your controller will not vibrate while your shooting.

In-Game rumble/vibration setting must still be enabled.

🔀 Crossover Auto-Remap

When this GamePack is being used on a PlayStation 5 or 4 and detects the connected controller is not a DualSense or DualShock 4, it will automatically reassign Touchpad to the Select/Back/View/Minus Button of your crossover controller so you are still able to utilize the Touchpad functionality on a PlayStation while using a Crossover controller. You can also access the PS5/PS4 Share Screen by pressing Select/Back/View/Minus + RS (Right Stick).

⁉️ Troubleshooting

If you are experiencing unstable performance or settings issues with your GamePack, it's likely that the configuration profile has become corrupted. This can sometimes happen when updating to a newer GamePack version with major structural changes or using a memory slot that already had a pack previously programmed to it.

Simply select Device 👉 Erase Memory Slots, once finished unplug the Zen mini-USB cable, then go to File 👉 Relaunch as Admin, reconnect the mini-USB cable to the Zen, and program the GamePack again. You will now find the Mods are working as they should😃
