ℹ Introduction

The Apex Legends: Season 10 GamePack Anti Recoil system has been upgraded to support all currently available weapons with much more accurate Anti Recoil patterns and a New Weapon Profile System with 5 Profiles (1 Primary and 1 Secondary per Profile) with LED indication and displays the weapon name at the same time. Each profile allows to have Anti Recoil adjustments for the Y Axis and X Axis for both the Primary and Secondary weapons along with allowing you to set the weapons used in a profile for both Primary and Secondary Weapons. Switch between Primary and Secondary weapons with expert Anti-Recoil settings automatically applied giving you a rock solid aim.

Also featuring a brand New Aim Assist from the Godfather (Batts) which is now more accurate over longer distances, and like Anti-Recoil can be fine tuned in real-time.

Other essentials are Fast Nade, Auto Reload, Auto Ping, and Holster Run. With the custom button selection we can support all button and stick layouts.

β€‹πŸ›  How to Setup this GamePack

This GamePack is split into color-coded categories that makes setup and organization easy to follow and understand. There are also video setup walkthroughs, which you can find on our YouTube Channel. We do encourage you to familiarize yourself with these written instructions before jumping into the videos, it will pay off for you in the long run.

There are two methods to setup and configure Mods in this GamePack, the first being the GamePack Configuration Interface (or GCI) and the second is the Zen OLED Menu System.

β€‹βš™ GamePack Configuration Interface (GCI)

The GCI either pops up up every time you program a GamePack to a memory slot, or when you click on the memory slot number in Zen Studio. This is a really quick way to setup all your preferred defaults from the get-go.

GamePack Default Settings: All default values are optimized for console gaming with a controller. If using πŸ–±Mouse & keyboard, you should expect to have to change almost all default settings to suit your preferred playing style, in particular changing all in-game stick sensitivity settings to maximum.

It's very important that you setup your mouse before trying to use any GamePacks or scripts.

GamePack Menus now allow you to navigate menus using a keyboard. Normally with a controller the D-pad, A/Cross, and B/Circle are used. Simply open the GamePack menu with the buttons that LT/L2 and Menu/Options have been mapped to. Then in the place of the D-pad you can now use the arrow keys, Enter and Esc.

  • In the place of Left D-pad the left arrow key is used.

  • In the place of Right D-pad the right arrow key is used.

  • In the place of Up D-pad the Up arrow key is used.

  • In the place of Down D-pad the Down arrow key is used.

  • In the place of A / Cross the Enter key is used.

  • In the place of B / Circle the Esc key is used.

β€‹πŸ”² Zen OLED Menu System

The Zen OLED Menu System is a new groundbreaking feature that allows the configuration and tuning of dozens of different Mod modes and combinations, on-the-fly and in seconds, all from an easy to read OLED interface. Once you have programmed this GamePack to a memory slot it must be enabled and active. This is done by pressing the Memory Slot Button (P1) until the logo of the GamePack you wish to use appears on the OLED screen.

When you see the logo of this GamePack displayed on the screen, simply hold LT/L2 & press MENU/OPTIONS to access the Mod Menu System.

The Deadeye Tempo mod when enabled allows you to to shoot perfectly timed shots. To toggle this mod on Hold View / Touchpad + X / Square. With the in-game Deadeye Tempo attachment equipped to a Bow or Sentinal simply hold down fire and you will shoot perfectly timed fast shots. The mod relies on vibration and you will need to enable vibration in order for it to work

This only works on Xbox and PC currently.

 In-Game Controller Vibration

This option blocks all rumble signals sent from the game, but still allows the GamePack to read in-game rumble frequencies which is used by several mods to measure timing. The In-Game Controller Vibration option must always be enabled.

 Anti-Recoil

Recoil is when your weapon moves on its own while firing. Anti-Recoil reduces this erratic movement making your shots more accurate and more likely to hit your target. For example, without Anti-Recoil your weapon may pull up when you fire and with Anti-Recoil your weapon will stay on target and fire straight.

Each weapon in each game has a unique recoil pattern and when adjusted correctly Anti-Recoil simply combats the vertical (and sometimes horizontal) aspect of this. When the game causes the weapon to pull up, Anti-Recoil will pull the weapon down enough to level out your shot.

Anti-Recoil values are different for each weapon, and the built-in Weapon Tracking System applies expert Anti-Recoil values and other Mod settings specific to the Primary or Secondary Weapon you are using.

However, attachments can change the mechanics of the weapon, so we also provide the ability to fine tune the horizontal and vertical X & Y Axis for both Primary and Secondary weapons.

Micro Low option will reduce the effect slightly while shooting and moving the analog sticks. Micro High will further increase this reduction effect. Both variations of Micro Anti Recoil may make micro adjustments easier at longer ranges.

Pro Tip: A higher value means a stronger recoil compensation, a lower value means less recoil compensation. Anti-Recoil Vertical strength for both Primary and Secondary Weapons can be adjusted from -200 to 200, and Horizontal Strength from -200 to 200 in real-time by using the Zen OLED GamePack Adjustable Menu. This allows you to quickly tune your weapon directly from your controller while playing the game, and without having to unplug and connect your Zen to a PC. The new multi-stage recoil scales a weapon's pattern by a percentage. If you notice too much up or down movement decrease the Y value. Increasing Y will make up and down movement greater. Should you want to lessen left and right movement decrease X while increasing it will make these movements stronger.

How to setup Anti-Recoil Guide

  1. Enable "Anti-Recoil".

  2. Choose your "Profile" with your "Weapon".

For example I am going to use the "M600 Spitfire". I will load the "M600 Spitfire" to "Profile 1".

  1. I am going to stand in-front of a wall.

  2. I will fire a full clip against a wall.

  3. The Recoil-Pattern should be perfect.

  4. If not follow Step 4-6.

  5. If I have recoil which goes up or down to much ,

  6. I have to decrease "Y Value".

  7. If I have recoil which does not go up or down to much , I have to decrease "Y Value".

  8. If I have recoil which goes Left or Right, I have to decrease "X Value".

  9. If I have recoil which does not go Left or Right enough, I have to Increase "X Value".

In Apex Legends when shooting at anything that triggers Aim Assist such as target dummies or enemies extra recoil is needed to compensate for this in-game mechanic.

Now you have perfect Wall-Pattern, when setting recoil for an enemy we recommend adding 10 on top of your "Y Value". For example if you had "Y Value" of "0" you new value would be 10 to start. The X Axis follows the same process except we recommend adding 15 to the X Axis as a starting point for tuning when shooting any enemy or dummy targets.

Anti Recoil how it works and what to expect:

As previously mention normally when firing a weapon each gun will produce a certain pattern. Anti Recoil works by moving the stick used to aim in the opposite direction of this pattern to reduce and attempt to eliminate the effect of recoil. The recoil for each weapon is tuned for guns with no attachments with the exception being extended magazines. Using or not using an extended magazine will not effect your recoil. Other attachments though will require at least some tweaks using the Anti Recoil adjustables. The further away you are from a target the more fine tuning that may be required. Keep in mind that there is in-game weapon sway which is an in-game mechanic for which Anti Recoil does not account for. As such you may notice a slightly different pattern between each group of shots made.

In the latest version of the Apex Legends GamePack the adjustables work in a way that scale the X and Y axis for their respective adjustables. Adjusting the Y axis to be larger will move your shots down while reducing it will raise it (opposite is true if using inverted options). Now when it comes to the X axis reducing or raising this value does not mean that the X axis will move left or right as it would with a traditional Anti Recoil adjustable. This goes back to how the new recoil system works which is by scaling the pattern and not a push which many have been accustomed to using previous GamePacks and scripts posted by users. Switching to a push style adjustable while more familiar ultimately would produce an inferior effect at longer ranges. While this is a new change the end result with a little tweaking will produce a far better end result.

Next we will go little deeper into how Anti Recoil works so you can have a better understanding of it and what to expect when using it. Normally when firing a weapon Anti Recoil moves the stick you aim with in the opposite direction to compensate the effects of recoil. Then when you are physically moving that analog stick you will get a stacked effect. Ok so what does that mean? Well an analog stick can have a value or anything of -100 to 100. Negative values are left for the X Axis and Up for the Y Axis. Then positive values are right and down movements.

Lets take the following as an example.

  • Weapon R301

  • 4 /4 Sensitivity

  • Small Deadzone

Here when not touching the analog stick for aiming your Y Axis can output anything for about +5 to about +50 without any adjustments to Y. Now when looking at the X Axis with the same conditions these values can be anything from about -20 (left movement) to about +30 (right movement). Your happy with the effect recoil is giving you when not moving the analog stick at all but then all of a sudden when moving the analog stick you notice a unwanted movement when actually using the analog stick. This is the stacked effect we referred to earlier. Say you are moving the analog stick right and it is +15 which is a low value and typical for micro adjustments and Anti Recoil is outputting a value of +10. Your Zen is now outputting around +25 since it is combining both movements. This would be reduced if Anti Recoil is giving a negative value which does happen as a weapon can change direction up to 20 times in any direction.

This may give some players, not all some difficulty making finer micro adjustments. To counter this stacking effect we have added a total of 4 new options Micro Low, Micro High along with inverted options for both. What these Anti Recoil options do is reduce the strength of Anti Recoil when moving your analog stick past its deadzone. None would be +/- 4. While naturally you would think it be 0 a value of 4 was input to account for any stick noise you may have. Then there is the commonly used small that has a value of +/- 10. Last there is Large which has a value of +/- 20.

Micro Low when used reduces the output strength of Anti Recoil by 50% only when the analog stick is past your deadzone. This is usually a good point for most players who want to have control of finer movements. Then there is Micro High this reduces the effect of Anti Recoil under the same conditions by 75% further reducing the strength of Anti Recoil that leads to minimal stacking.

What can happen depending on what direction you are moving your analog stick in combination of the point where the Anti Recoil MOD is in the Anti Recoil pattern is a kick up or a minimal stacking effect. Movement going up is due to not enough Y movement applied due to Micro Recoil reducing its strength and left and right movement from strong pulls in the recoil pattern. While it would be great to eliminate this as a whole you simply can not have it both ways due to the nature of how an Anti Recoil MOD works. Remember Zen does not modify game code or memory and will help and assist you. Though it is not going to give you a PC style no recoil effect when moving the right stick.

To go straight to the Anti-Recoil Adjustments Hold VIEW/TOUCHPAD & Press LT/L1.

In-game Deadzone, Sensitivity and Response curves must match. If these do not match Anti Recoil will not perform as it should and reduce the accuracy of Anti Recoil.

If you are using the Inverted-Y Axis version of this Mod, the Invert Vertical Look In-Game option must be set to enabled.

Weapon Profile Switch Method

This GamePack has a built-in Weapon Tracking System, designed to intelligently manage Anti-Recoil and other Mod settings depending on which weapon you are using in-game so that mods do not conflict with normal gameplay. You can choose to switch from Primary to Secondary Weapon Profiles Automatically, or Manually with a Quick Toggle.

Pro Tip: When using the Auto Switch Method, the built-in Weapon Tracking System may become "desynced". For example if you respawn with your Secondary Weapon enabled but the Mod is detected and switched to the Primary Weapon, or when navigating the in-game menu. To resync Primary Weapon or Secondary Weapon use the same toggle as the manual switch.

Aim Assist

Aim Assist is a common feature for console shooter games to compensate for the deficiency of using a controller. Most games' Aim Assist will snap towards the target if you're close to it keeping you on target.

This new "Aim Assist" is from the GPC Godfather himself "Batts". This MOD was reworked from the ground to provide the best possible tracking and stickiness when using a ZEN. The all new algorithm will keep its full potential even when used with Anti-Recoil MOD. Allowing you to effortlessly track a moving opponent whenever they are moving slow, fast or jumping. Never before has there been an "Aim Assist" this powerful, requiring minimal stick movement to keep up with targets.

Aim Assist Adjustable Values

Aim Assist: ADS Strength (1 - 50): Set the strength of Aim Assist while aiming down sights and not firing. This controls intensity of the right stick movement. Higher values will shake more and be noticeable onscreen. This is in general good for close range and non sniper weapons. A lower value shake less generally which is better for far range and scoped weapons. It is recommended to use a balance which is how the default value has been set. If this is set too high and you do not like the screen shake then slightly lower the value of this variable.

Aim Assist: ADS Step (1 - 50): Set the speed of Aim Assist while aiming down sights and not firing. This controls how fast the right sticks rotates in a circular pattern. Higher values will rotate faster. This is in general good for close range and non sniper weapons. A lower value rotates slower generally which is better for far range and scoped weapons. It is recommended to use a balance which is how the default value has been set.

What is the best way to set Aim Assist? A good starting point is to make ADS Strength +1 or +2 more than your deadzone and Fire Strength +5 above deadzone. The step values control how fast the aim assist moves. Slower is generally better for long range and faster for short range

Jump Toggle: HOLD VIEW/TOUCHPAD + PRESS RB/R1 TO JUMP TO THE AIM ASSIST ADJUSTMENT MENU

In-Game Settings: Right Stick Deadzone

β€‹πŸ”€ Crossover Auto-Remap

When this GamePack is being used on a PlayStation 5 or 4 and detects the connected controller is not a DualSense or DualShock 4, it will automatically reassign Touchpad to the Select/Back/View/Minus Button of your crossover controller so you are still able to utilize the Touchpad functionality on a PlayStation while using a Crossover controller. You can also access the PS5/PS4 Share Screen by pressing Select/Back/View/Minus + RS (Right Stick).

⁉Troubleshooting

If you are experiencing unstable performance or settings issues with your GamePack, it's likely that the configuration profile has become corrupted. This can sometimes happen when updating to a newer GamePack version with major structural changes, or using a memory slot that already had a pack previously programmed to it.

Simply go to Device πŸ‘‰ Erase Memory Slots, unplug the Zen mini-USB cable, go to File πŸ‘‰ Relaunch as Admin, reconnect the mini-USB cable to the Zen and program the GamePack again. You will now find the Mods are working as they shouldπŸ˜ƒ
