Introduction

The Batman: Arkham Knight GamePack features a great set of custom Mods including Auto Grapnel Boost, Easy Super Eject, Super Eject Strength, Auto Shockwave Attack, Driving Mode Button Remap & Detective Mode Button Remap.

How to Setup this GamePack

There are two methods to setup and configure Mods in this GamePack, the first being the GamePack Configuration Interface (or GCI) and the second is the Zen OLED Menu System.

GamePack Configuration Interface (GCI)

The GCI either pops up every time you program a GamePack to a memory slot or when you click on the memory slot number in Zen Studio. This is a really quick way to setup all your preferred defaults from the get-go.
GamePack Default Settings: All default values are optimized for console gaming with a controller. If using

Mouse & keyboard, you should expect to have to change almost all default settings to suit your preferred playing style, in particular changing all in-game sensitivity settings to maximum. It's very important that you setup your mouse before trying to use any GamePacks or scripts.

Zen OLED Menu System

The Zen OLED Menu System is a new groundbreaking feature that allows the configuration and tuning of dozens of different Mod modes and combinations, on-the-fly and in seconds, all from an easy to read OLED interface. Once you have programmed this GamePack to a memory slot it must be enabled and active. This is done by pressing the Memory Slot Button (P1) until the logo of the GamePack you wish to use appears on the OLED screen.
When you see the logo of this GamePack displayed on the screen, simply hold LT/L2 & press MENU/OPTIONS to access the Mod Menu System.

The Zen OLED Menu System has built in screensaver protection to help protect against screen burn. It will kick in after 3 minutes of inactivity. Press any button to return to the Mod Menu screen.

Quick Toggles

Quick Toggles allow you to access the OLED Menu System and instantly enable/disable active Mods while gaming. This gives an incredible advantage in certain situations, for example if you are using a weapon that requires Anti-Recoil to be disabled quickly, or if you are using a fully automatic weapon and need to disable Rapid Fire, simply tap the Quick Toggle designated to the Active Fire Mod.
Note: When a Mod is disabled, any associated Quick Toggle is also disabled.

Auto Shockwave Attack

Dive Bomb to the ground and perform a powerful shockwave attack that knocks down enemies in the vicinity immediately.
Pro Tip: When you perform Dive Bomb, you land on the ground at a great downward speed and you can also transfer this speed into a horizontal glide. This will help you cover large distances and you can surprise your opponent using this tactic.
Note: Shockwave Attack must be unlocked (requires 3 WayneTech Points).
In-Game Rumble/Vibration setting MUST be enabled for this Mod to work.

Special Combo Takedowns & Attack Moves

This GamePack includes a comprehensive list of 18 Special Combo Takedowns & Attack Moves that can be used with the following in-game characters: Batman, Robin, Catwoman, Nightwing, Azrael, Harley Quinn, Batgirl, and Red Hood. Here are some general combat notes to help improve your gameplay:
  • You can only evade once without breaking your combo, but you can redirect as many times in a row as you want.
  • Picking up a weapon from the ground will enable you to freely attack stun baton and electrified enemies.
  • Characters with the Batclaw other than Batgirl can use the Quickfire Batclaw move to pull a gun from an enemy's hands. This will not destroy the gun, however.
  • While the combat system is designed to discourage button mashing, there are times when it will not hurt to do so. One example is when an enemy waits to attack you while you're in the middle of a takedown animation. The counter squiggles will be there, and unless you can time it perfectly, it's ok to press triangle multiple times as the animation finishes.
  • All characters have a quickfire move linked to LT/L2 but using it too many times in a row will void your combo.
  • Several trophies require you to finish combat rounds unharmed and in a single combo. In general, you want to keep it simple. Redirect rather than counter.
  • You cannot be harmed while performing an Aerial Attack on a shield enemy. However, you can be hit while performing it on a normal enemy. Avoid using it unless the area around you is pretty clear.
  • Similarly, you cannot be hit while performing a Batclaw Slam on an electrified enemy.

Disarm and Destroy

This attack targets an individual enemy and destroys their weapon. It is very useful as you can remove the stronger weapons from your enemies early-on in the fight. If there are no enemies with weapons nearby, Disarm and Destroy will become a Special Combo Takedown.

Environment Takedown & Pickup Weapon
โ€‹
Environment Takedown will instantly incapacitate any enemy type, regardless of remaining health. This attack can be performed both in Combat and Predator situations.
โ€‹
This can only be performed near environment objects that are highlighted in blue. These include:
โ€‹
  • Around air conditioning units, which will be torn off and smashed into the target.
  • Electrical boxes, which will be smashed by the character throwing the target into it, and the target will be thrown and held again into the box, electrocuting them.
  • Lights hanging by a single chain, which will be smashed into the enemy's head.
Note: When used on Brutes or Minigunners, they will be incapacitated instantly, even if they are Militia.

Pick Up Weapon allows players to pick up weapons from the ground.
โ€‹
This can only be performed near weapons that are highlighted in blue. These include:

  • Firearms, Shields, Swords & Stun Batons.
  • Only Batman, Robin, Nightwing & Azrael can Pickup Melee Weapons.
Note: Melee weapons provide temporary damage boost and the ability to punch through enemy defenses.

Special Combo Multi-Ground Takedown

Instantly KO enemies on the ground by throwing batarang from the air (Full Combo Meter Required) & (Combat Upgrade Required cost 4)

Quickfire Batclaw

Batclaws used on unaware enemies will disarm them (Gadget Skill Upgrade Required cost 1)

Quickfire Remote Electrical Charge
โ€‹
It is used to start up generators in Arkham. These generators have many purposes from solving/finding riddler throphies to pushing or pulling enemies guns from them.

Quickfire Explosive Gel
โ€‹
QuickFire Explosive Gel behaved very similarly to the Concussion Detonator, it takes a second to explode, and made the enemies dizzy.

Critical Beatdown

Critical Beatdown does a critical punch followed by a chain of beatdowns (Critical Strikes Required cost 1)

Beat Down
โ€‹
Beat Down used to focus the player's attacks towards a single enemy and takes them out if the move is completed successfully (Enemy must be Dazed)

Super Stun

Perform a Super Stun without having to preform 3 stun attacks by just holding down the stun button

Aerial Attack
โ€‹
Aerial Attack is specialized for dealing with enemies with shields (Riot Shields, car doors, etc.)

Directed Aerial Attack

Directed Aerial Attack, which makes him punch the floored enemy one more time, slowing down the attack in the process.

Block Rumble

This option blocks all rumble signals sent from the game, but still allows the GamePack to read in-game rumble frequencies (used by several mods to measure timing).
So, if you have this Mod disabled your controller will vibrate while shooting, and if this Mod is enabled your controller will not vibrate while your shooting.
In-Game rumble/vibration must still be enabled.

Crossover Auto-Remap

When this GamePack is being used on a PlayStation 5 or 4 and detects the connected controller is not a DualSense or DualShock 4, it will automatically reassign Touchpad to the Select/Back/View/Minus Button of your crossover controller so you are still able to utilize the Touchpad functionality on a PlayStation while using a Crossover controller. You can also access the PS5/PS4 Share Screen by pressing Select/Back/View/Minus + RS (Right Stick).

Troubleshooting

If you are experiencing unstable performance or settings issues with your GamePack, it's likely that the configuration profile has become corrupted. This can sometimes happen when updating to a newer GamePack version with major structural changes or using a memory slot that already had a pack previously programmed to it.
Simply select Device

Erase Memory Slots, once finished unplug the Zen mini-USB cable, then go to File

Relaunch as Admin, reconnect the mini-USB cable to the Zen, and program the GamePack again. You will now find the Mods are working as they should
