There are two methods to setup and configure Mods in this GamePack, the first being the GamePack Configuration Interface (or GCI) and the second is the Zen OLED Menu System.
The GCI either pops up every time you program a GamePack to a memory slot or when you click on the memory slot number in Zen Studio. This is a really quick way to setup all your preferred defaults from the get-go.
GamePack Default Settings: All default values are optimized for console gaming with a controller. If using Mouse & keyboard, you should expect to have to change almost all default settings to suit your preferred playing style, in particular changing all in-game sensitivity settings to maximum. It's very important that you setup your mouse before trying to use any GamePacks or scripts.

Battlefield Hardline GamePack Configuration Interface (GCI)
The Zen OLED Menu System is a new groundbreaking feature that allows the configuration and tuning of dozens of different Mod modes and combinations, on-the-fly and in seconds, all from an easy to read OLED interface. Once you have programmed this GamePack to a memory slot it must be enabled and active. This is done by pressing the Memory Slot Button (P1) until the logo of the GamePack you wish to use appears on the OLED screen.

When you see the logo of this GamePack displayed on the screen, simply hold LT/L2 & press MENU/OPTIONS to access the Mod Menu System.

All Adjustable Mods can be tuned and tested in real-time directly from the Zen GamePack OLED Adjustables Menu.
The Zen OLED Menu System has built in screensaver protection to help protect against screen burn. It will kick in after 3 minutes of inactivity. Press any button to return to the Mod Menu screen.
Press Play for Screensaver Demo
Quick Toggles allow you to access the OLED Menu System and instantly enable/disable active Mods while gaming. This gives an incredible advantage in certain situations, for example if you are using a weapon that requires Anti-Recoil to be disabled quickly, or if you are using a fully automatic weapon and need to disable Rapid Fire, simply tap the Quick Toggle designated to the Active Fire Mod.
Note: When a Mod is disabled, any associated Quick Toggle is also disabled.

Most users play their favorite Battlefield games using the default button layout but a lot of players do use optional button layout and switch their analog stick positions. With the Button Layouts you can make any of the Mods on the CronusMAX ZEN work with your favorite button layout.
All default Battlefield Hardline button layout options are available in this GamePack including Swapped Layouts. Use the GamePack Configuration Interface (GCI) in Zen Studio or Cronus Zen's OLED Screen to access the OLED GamePack Menu to select the layout you are using in-game.
This will automatically adjust and remap all Mods to your preferred choice.
This step is critical. If you don't select the same Button Layout Preset that you are using in-game, several Mods in this GamePack will not function correctly.
- 1.Press the MENU/OPTIONS button on your controller
- 2.Select the CONTROLS
- 3.Select AGENT BUTTONS

This category has a selection of powerful Rapid Fire type Mods, including Adjustable Rapid Fire, Dynamic Rapid Fire and Burst Fire.
Rapid Fire is designed for semi-automatic and single shot weapons. The feature makes them shoot as fully automatics and gives the players a greater firing power compared to the one achieved through manual trigger pulling.
In simple terms, the Mod pulls the Fire Trigger on your behalf. When you hold down RT/R2, the mod keeps pressing fire in the background over and over again until you release it. It also lets you focus on aiming better by taking away the need to constantly press fire.
Adjustable Rapid Fire gives you the ability to change the fire rate in real-time straight from the Cronus Zen OLED interface. This allows you to tune your preferred fire rate quickly and with ease, which creates a very unique advantage for players looking to get the most optimum possible fire rate from their weapon.
🔫
Dynamic Rapid Fire has the fire rate of a weapon tied to the pressure of the trigger. The more pressure applied, the faster you will shoot.
🔫
Burst Fire turns your Fully Automatic into a semi-automatic weapon, allowing you to conserve ammunition while improving accuracy and achieving more headshots.
🔫
There are a few things worth noting:
- Every game and gun has a capped fire-rate preset by the game developer. The mod can optimize to it's maximum speed and also help with tricks such as cool down and weapon swap speed, but the actual fire speed can never go above the preset capped rate.
- The Rapid Fire mod is not effective for single shot weapons that have a very slow firing rate such as Bolt Action Rifles.
- Cronus Mod Technology offers a tactical Quick Toggle feature. It allows the player to quickly disable or enable the Active Fire Mod depending on the gaming circumstances - for example when your character is carrying both semi and fully-automatic weapons at the same time. While changing between primary and secondary classes, Rapid Fire can be quickly turned ON or OFF by holding LT/L2 + D-PAD UP.
Pro Tip: Pistols and Semi-Automatics work best with Rapid Fire.
While Rapid Fire will not usually make a fully-automatic gun shoot any faster, it can have positive side effects on full-auto guns, such as reducing recoil thus increasing accuracy at a long range and helping players conserve ammunition and achieve more headshots.

Recoil is when your weapon moves on its own while firing. Anti-Recoil reduces this erratic movement making your shots more accurate and more likely to hit your target. For example, without Anti-Recoil your weapon may pull up when you fire and with Anti-Recoil your weapon will stay on target and fire straight.
Each weapon in each game has a unique recoil pattern and when adjusted correctly Anti-Recoil simply combats the vertical (and sometimes horizontal) aspect of this. When the game causes the weapon to pull up, Anti-Recoil will pull the weapon down enough to level out your shot.
Anti-Recoil strength can be adjusted from 1 to 100 in real-time by using the Zen OLED GamePack Adjustable Menu. A higher value means a stronger recoil compensation, a lower value means less recoil compensation. This allows you to quickly tune your weapon directly from your controller while playing the game, without having to unplugging and connecting your Zen to a PC.
Pro Tip: When you use a high sensitivity the value can be higher than the default value. When you use a low sensitivity the value can be lower than the default value.
If you are using the Inverted-Y Axis version of this Mod, it will also need to be enabled in-game.
- 1.Press the MENU/OPTIONS button on your controller
- 2.Select the CONTROLS

Aim Assist is a common feature for console shooter games to compensate for the deficiency of using a controller. Most games' Aim Assist will snap towards the target if you're close to it keeping you on target. However this is only available for about 1 second after you make your shot. This Mod gives you the ability to have Aim Assist ALWAYS ON! The Aim Assist Mod is a great new feature developed exclusively for the CronusMAX ZEN. This new version is now developed for both Controller and for Mouse users so there's no more jittering (the timing is slightly different when using a mouse instead of a controller) Note: To use a GamePack with Mouse & Keyboard you will require A Zen or a XIM. Imagine being in a fire fight with an ARS stacked with 30 rounds. With the Aim Assist Mod disabled you will have about 4-5 rounds before Aim Assist deactivates. With the Mod enabled you can fire all 30 rounds with Aim Assist activated. It's a truly awesome mod and probably the most popular in the entire range of Call of Duty GamePacks. Your kill count will be insane!
*The Aim Assist strength is based and calculated from your In-Game Zoom Sensitivity & the Input device Selected.

Drop Shot makes your character drop to the ground automatically each time you fire your weapon, allowing the bullets to hit the opponent’s entire body while also forcing the opponent to aim downward in order to get a shot off.
Strafe Shot makes your character move to the left or right while firing. The direction is determined by your last analog stick direction. Note: You will NOT strafe if you are moving forwards or backwards.

Auto Spot is a very useful mod designed especially for Battlefield. You can help your team in BF by spotting an enemy that will show on your teammates' radar. You may earn extra points once a spotted enemy is defeated. This action is usually accomplished by manually pressing the Right Bumper (RB/R1).
With Auto Spot you no longer have to press the Right Bumper, as the mod will automatically do it for you every time you trigger your weapon using one of the following activators:
Fire Only: Auto Spot only when pressing the FIRE trigger. ADS will block the Mod.
ADS Only: Auto Spot only when pressing the ADS trigger. FIRE will block the Mod.
On Fire: Auto Spot while pressing the FIRE trigger. ADS is ignored.
Always On: Auto Spot is always active (RB/R1 toggles ON/OFF).

This mode is specially designed for sniper rifles. It automatically holds the sniper's breath when scoping in. Upon activation the MOD will hold the sniper's breath when scoping. Quick Scope is widely used in FPS games. The idea behind Quick Scope is to use a sniper rifle, scope IN and fire the shot as the gun scopes in. Perfecting the aiming and timing will allow you to become a one-man commando with your sniper rifle.

If you are tired of constantly pressing the left analog stick to make your character sprint, Auto Sprint is just what you have been looking for. Auto Sprint can be used with Sniper Breath and/or Quick Scope simultaneously.
Pro Tip: Always On means Auto Sprint is always active.
Press Sensitive means Auto Sprint is Active is Left Stick is pressed over 50%.

Battlefield applies a "dead-zone" to the trigger buttons, which means the triggers (either shooting or ADS) need to be pressed almost half way down before they are registered by the game. With this Hair Trigger Mod you can ensure your weapon will fire or ADS at the slightest amount of pressure. When using this Mod, the LT/L2 and RT/R2 triggers are digitally converted so that they perform with ultra sensitivity without having to hardwire any extra components to your controller - saving both your warranty, time and money.
# | Option | Description |
0 | Mod Disabled | Hair Triggers is Disabled |
1 | Mod Enabled | Fire or ADS will now activate at the slightest amount of Trigger pressure. |
This option blocks all rumble signals sent from the game, but still allows the GamePack to read in-game rumble frequencies (used by several mods to measure timing).
So, if you have this Mod disabled your controller will vibrate while shooting, and if this Mod is enabled your controller will not vibrate while your shooting.
In-Game rumble/vibration must still be enabled.
- 1.Press the MENU/OPTIONS button on your controller
- 2.Select the CONTROLS
- 3.Select VIBRATION
# | Option | Description |
0 | Mod Disabled | Controller WILL receive rumbles |
1 | Mod Enabled | Controller WILL NOT receive rumbles |
When this GamePack is being used on a PlayStation 5 or 4 and detects the connected controller is not a DualSense or DualShock 4, it will automatically reassign Touchpad to the Select/Back/View/Minus Button of your crossover controller so you are still able to utilize the Touchpad functionality on a PlayStation while using a Crossover controller. You can also access the PS5/PS4 Share Screen by pressing Select/Back/View/Minus + RS (Right Stick).

Troubleshooting Tip If you are experiencing unstable performance or settings issues with your GamePack, it's likely that the configuration profile has become corrupted. This can sometimes happen when updating to a newer GamePack version with major structural changes or using a memory slot that already had a pack previously programmed to it.
Simply go to Device Erase Memory Slots, unplug the Zen mini-USB cable, go to File Relaunch as Admin, reconnect the mini-USB cable to the Zen, and program the GamePack again. You will now find the Mods are working as they should
